While sustainability has always been part of Chris Blackwell's philosophy, the GoldenEye Luxury Resort in Jamaica sought out consulting services from Agritecture in order to integrate sustainability into the core of their operations.

Agritecture hosted educational workshops to get the GoldenEye team up to speed on sustainability in the hospitality industry, determined the baseline calculations across key impact areas of the resort (water, waste, energy, food, and local community), devised strategies to mitigate the negative impacts of operations, and wrote the resort’s first-ever sustainability strategy report to be used as a guide in understanding and implementing sustainability strategies across resort operations.
