Brakeley Bryant is a sustainability analyst specializing in sustainable food systems and innovation at Agritecture, a global advisory firm for urban agriculture. She holds an MSc in Innovation and Global Sustainable Development from Lund University and a BS in Business Administration from Boston University. Passionate about sustainable development and the fight against climate change, Brakeley shifted from her work in the information technology sector in 2020 to pursue studies in Lund, Sweden. In her work with Agritecture, Brakeley has assisted in contextualizing urban food system planning projects in the peer-reviewed sustainable food system and sustainable agro-food transition methodologies. She has conducted further research in agriculture as well to explore synergies between innovative and traditional agriculture methods that may lead to sustainable pathways of production.
